About JB International Sports Club

Established since year 2015, JBI Sports Club is a renowned private local and international football club in Johor Bahru. JBI Sports Club strives to make learning soccer simple, safe, enjoyable and fun for your child. We bring together all children and teenagers from locally and all over the world to enjoy the game of soccer in a safe and fun environment as we believe in the importance of starting from young.

We are currently one of the leading private local and international youth football club with skilled, experienced and qualified coaches to help your child reach their full potential. With our consistent classes offered all year round, we are confident that your child will be able to develop a lifelong focus and interest in soccer.

We also provide age appropriate instructions to enable proper communication between our coach and your child. Rest assured we always maintain a low coach to student ratio so we can carefully monitor every single player’s progress.

About Head Coach of JB International Sports Club

Hi everyone, I’m Coach Henry Okoli. I’m the technical director and head coach of JBI Sports Club.

I’ve participated and played amateur football in Nigeria, Benin, Mali & Cape Verde. I’m currently also a License Holder of Asian Football Confederation (AFC), United States Soccer Federation (USSF) & Union of European Football Association (UEFA).

With over 10 years of coaching experience and specifically in relation to grassroots, youth and even adults football, I’m able to monitor and evaluate players professionally and ensure progressive development technically and tactically. I am also able to prepare individual plans & programs for coaches & players.

I believe that every journey begins with a single step, hence here at JBI Sports Club, I constantly strive to encourage, motivate and lead JBI Sports Club players and future players in their soccer journey all year round.

Club President

Jonny Klepsvik

Originally from Norway with a distinctive leadership character is our respected Club President Jonny Klepsvik. He has been constantly guiding and leading JBI Sports Club since early days. Many of our players have been under his guidance as he is recognised as one of the favourable figures of JBI Sports Club. He envisions to raise the standards and lead the current highly passionate local youths in Malaysia to be comparable with international football players.

Our Coaches

Our coaches are fully qualified and have great passion in football. They are also very patient, have great communication skills and able to organise and lead the team using various innovative training methods, suitable for local and international youth across all ages.
