About JBI Sports Club
Established since year 2015, JBI Sports Club is a renowned private local and international football club in Johor Bahru. JBI Sports Club strives to make learning soccer simple, safe, enjoyable and fun for your child. We bring together all children and teenagers from locally and all over the world to enjoy the game of soccer in a safe and fun environment as we believe in the importance of starting from young.
Head Coach of JBI Sports Club
I am the Head Coach of JBI Sports Academy, with over 15 years of coaching experience across grassroots, elite, and professional football environments. Throughout my coaching career, I have worked with players of different age groups and ability levels, helping them develop technically, tactically, physically, and mentally.
Before moving fully into coaching, I played semi-professional football, an experience that has strongly shaped my understanding of the game and my approach to player development. My background as both a player and coach allows me to connect with athletes, understand their challenges, and guide them towards achieving their full potential.
I hold the Asian Football Confederation AFC ‘A’ Coaching Diploma, as well as an AFC Certificate in Football Coaching and Management. In addition, I have earned the UEFA ‘C’ Coaching Diploma, England FA Youth Module 1 and 2, and the England FA National Goalkeeping Licence. These qualifications reflect my commitment to continuous learning and maintaining high professional coaching standards.
